Abbie Appel

Abbie Appel is a recreational therapist and the owner of AbbieFit Consulting. As a fitness education specialist, she collaborates with organizations including YMCA, Crunch, and Equinox. She is an author and program developer who created the SCW Pilates, SCW Barre Education Certification, and the new SCW Stretching & Flexibility Certification. She also contributed to the ACSM Group Exercise Manual and Schwinn Indoor Cycling Certification Manual. Abbie is an acclaimed presenter for ACSM, IDEA, IHRSA and SCW, among others. She delivers fitness education for world-class brands including Nautilus, Schwinn and TRX. Abbie was awarded SCW Fitness Presenter of the Year.


Leslee Bender

Leslee Bender has over 30 years of experience in the fitness industry, and has presented fitness education internationally in over 20 countries. She is the creator of the Bender Method of training, which received “Infomercial of the Year” in 2007 for short form, and more than 2,000,000 orders. Leslee has produced over 30 DVDs and has created one of the safest methods of core training, the Pilates Coach Method. Leslee is a graduate of the Gray Institute of Applied Functional Science, and is now enrolled in the GIFT program there, believing that you can never stop learning the true functions of human movement. She was also a 2010 finalist for IDEA Instructor of the year. Presently, Leslee works in Orlando, FL as a functional training specialist with pro water skiers. She has a B.A., and fitness certifications from ACSM, NASM, AFAA, ACE.


Lauren George

With an ear for the beat and a passion for the party, Lauren has years of experience crafting various fitness formats and educational workshops that not only pack group fitness rooms, but also have a deep basis in current exercise science. Prior to being a fitness program designer, Lauren oversaw group fitness programs at prominent health clubs and university recreation centers, contributing to her extensive background in training thousands of new instructors. As a visionary in the fitness industry, Lauren George is the creative force behind Pumped Up Strength and The Musicality Method. She is also the co-creator of Barre Above and a program specialist for Balletone, and also lends her expertise to diverse fitness projects for other companies. A popular presenter, Lauren travels nationally to speak across a range of esteemed fitness and movement conferences about programming, cueing, musicality, business, and other topics. Beyond her role at Fit Pro Programming, Lauren has demonstrated her entrepreneurial spirit by launching multiple successful ventures. Notably, she founded Clemson Fitness Company, a boutique fitness studio located in Clemson, SC. Lauren is also the co-founder of Fit Biz Club, founder of the former PulsePointe barre, and films extensively for her own LG Fitness Virtual Studio and app, showcasing her commitment to innovation and excellence in the fitness industry. Lauren holds a B.S. in Sports Management from Texas A&M University, as well as an M.S. in Recreation and Leisure Studies from the University of North Texas. She currently hails from Houston, TX where she lives with her two young daughters and husband.

Elizabeth Lenart

With over 25 years in the fitness industry, Elizabeth Lenart is an international presenter, content creator and fitness guidance counselor. She known for explosive intervals, electric coaching and innovative programming. Elizabeth possesses and M.Ed. in Ed. Psych. and uses her capabilities in counseling and coaching to influence each movement and fitness guidance counseling session. She uses emotion to train from the inside, out and is a fierce advocate for positive body image and inclusive fitness. She is the National Program Director for Balletone, a Master Trainer with BOSU, Barre Above, Tabata Bootcamp, WaterRower and Extreme Chaos. She can be seen regularly on Mass Appeal.

Tricia Murphy Madden

Tricia Murphy-Madden is a highly respected veteran of the fitness and production industry with over 30 years of invaluable experience. In 2020, she was honored with the prestigious Fitness Leader of the Year award by IDEA, recognizing her exceptional contributions to the field. Tricia is the Co-Founder of Fit Pro Programming and Head of Programming for IDEA World 2024. Tricia's extensive expertise led her to serve as the on-set Director for Amazon Halo, where she successfully directed a multitude of workouts across various modalities. She played a pivotal role in talent casting and skill development for on-air presentations. Additionally, her involvement at Savvier involved product development and spearheading impactful consumer campaigns, contributing to the creation of some of the world's largest fitness programs. With a strong background in on-camera work, Tricia now focuses on creating accessible workouts for true beginners and athletic aging populations. She is renowned for her gracious energy and ability to motivate individuals at any stage of their fitness journey. Her contributions as a cast member for the now SWERVE, Active & Fit, Just Move by Kaisa Fit and the discontinued Amazon Halo App have garnered recognition for her exceptional care and support of users.


Keli Roberts

Keli Roberts has been recognized for many prestigious awards in the fitness industry. In 2003, she was named the IDEA International Fitness Instructor of the year. In 2005, Keli was awarded the Best Female Presenter and in 2008 she received the Lifetime Achievement OBOW award and in 2007 she was inducted into the National Fitness Hall of Fame. Keli is an ACSM EP and holds certifications through AFAA and ACE as a GFI, HC, and CPT. Moreover, Keli is an SCW Faculty Member, a BOSU Elite Developmental Team Member and a Schwinn Senior Master Instructor, and an Ambassador for Ryka.


Jason Schneider

Jason is a professional triathlon/endurance sports coach and age-group athlete. He has traveled around the world and raced on 6 different continents, in addition to the North Pole. When it comes to cycling, he is a Data-Hound – the more info he can get to help improve performance and results, the more he loves to ride and challenge himself. As an educator, he loves person-to-person interaction and helping instructors to up-level their coaching, in turn providing their riders with greater results.


Robert Sherman

Robert Sherman is President of Robert Sherman Fitness LLC., a personal training, home gym design, and health club instructor management consulting company. Robert owned and managed two boutique studios and a national content/program provider/instructor trainer for Lifetime Fitness and Equinox. He served as Master Instructor, program developer globally for Reebok, SPRI, Schwinn, Bosu, Beachbody, ActivMotion Bar, and Total Gym. With 38 years in health, he is a much sought-after program consultant, served on the Industry Advisory Panel for the ACE, and content provider/consultant for Boutique Fitness Solutions. Robert played collegiate baseball for Ithaca College, holds a BS degree in business from the University of Maryland, and is a Gold Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor by ACE and ACSM.


Joey Stabile

Joey Stabile has been involved with athletics and educator in the fitness industry for almost four decades. He owns Cycling Fusion and Indoor Cycle Instructor Pro as well as being the US Business Manager for Intelligent Cycling and the Director of Club Training for Heart Zones. He is a certified personal trainer, group fitness specialist, and the lead master trainer for Cycling Fusion in addition to being the podcast host for the ICI/Pro Indoor Cycling Podcast. Joey currently teaches indoor cycling at several Pittsburgh locations, when not training new instructors, and loves to fuse his passion for the ride with his love of training, technology, and, of course, the music. Joey has been competing as an age group athlete for all of his adult life and continues to race in triathlons, criteriums, marathons, and half-marathons. He can often be seen riding around the Pittsburgh streets and the area’s surrounding mountain trails enjoying the fresh outdoors completely unplugged from the training technology he uses to teach. Joey’s expertise and methodology for group exercise is grounded on sports science research and the teachings of Joe Friel and Sally Edwards. His expertise in group exercise has led him to consult with several fitness related companies as well as design and author the training programs that they employ. Eric Thomson

Eric is an energetic and charismatic fitness professional recognized for his motivational coaching and results-driven programming. As Master Instructor for Core Health & Fitness and Schwinn Indoor Cycling, Eric has presented at IDEA World, SCW, and other fitness conferences. Certified by NASM and ACE, Eric is in demand as a personal trainer and instructor. He is a top trainer for BODi Interactive with BeachBody, Tytin Fitness with Arizona Aesthetics and Wellness, a premiere private training facility in Phoenix, and has taught for companies such as EQUINOX and LIFE TIME. Doris Thews

Kia Williams
